Oops - I missed Wednesday again!

 

Truth be told I was playing with some new video toys that I can throughly recommend

 

I used the to record a new video - HERE

 

So what did I get?

 

Not the drone unfortunately - still waiting for that to arrive.

 

Its a teleprompter (autocue) system that works on my iphone.

 

You may not be thrilled - I get it - but it really is a very handy little program and it was cheap as chips

 

I’d written a script I wanted to use for a Youtube ad and was doing my usual busking it when I thought about autocue.

 

I used to do this professionally in the AV world and have “teleprompted” everyone from Jasper Carrot to Prince Andrew at various events.

 

Anyway it turns out that you can get an app that not only makes text scroll over your face as you do a selfie video, it can respond to your voice for timing and then add the script as subtitles when you’re done.

 

….. for £17.00 …… 😮

 

So I loaded up my script, clamped my phone into my gimbal and literally headed for the hills. See what you think -
