Hi {email}
Its the September weekend holiday here in my part of Scotland
Not that it makes much difference to me - or has done for many years
But I used to look forward to it plenty when I was in the 9-5 world
Actually it was 8-6 for much of it with added weekends and evenings when required but at least I got paid more for those
That’s the reality of exchanging your time for money. And the other reality is that when your employer doesn’t need or can't afford your time anymore, the money stops.
Happened to me twice after the last global recession pulled the rug out from under our feet
This time its the pandemic and again my old industry - the live events industry - has been hit hardest.
But for internet business (again) the opposite has happened.
I tried to find a word that’s the opposite of recession but there isn’t one as such
Wordhippo.com gives a long list of word that work though - see the image at the top of the mail.
So it makes sense to take advantage of it doesn’t it?
Even if you don’t want an internet business for some reason, being able to function online can secure some very tasty work from home jobs. My brother and one of my friends have just landed a couple, training groups of people online.
Whether it’s a business build around a passion or a well paid home based job you fancy, Mentors new “Launch You” programmes can get you there fast.
