Blessed with yet another day of glorious sunshine, and it being my partner’s day off we decided to head into the hills yesterday.
We wandered up toward the golf course, past the reservoir and onto the forestry tracks in the hills above our house
And we were in for a very pleasant surprise.
We’ve walked these tracks for many miles lost of times but over the last couple of years they have been closed for long spells due to felling and other forestry works
So yesterday was the first time we’ve been free to roam as far as we want for some time.
And we discovered that aside from felling thousands of trees, the Forestry dept have also been extending the network of tracks
There have always been amazing views over Arran, Bute, the Ayrshire coast from up there but now a new track takes you even higher and the view expands. It’s stunning.
Because this is as yet relatively un travelled by humans the wildlife is everywhere. A Golden Eagle rode the thermals above us and huge dragon flies buzzed around like little helicopters
Unfortunately by that time their was a lot of haze so the pics I took with the trusty Canon were disappointing.
I'll be back in a couple of weeks though when those clear Autumn skies are here
But it made me think that it can often be a good idea to revisit places and things you haven’t for a while.
I know for example that some of my subscribers - you perhaps? - Have checked out Six Figure Mentors (Now Mentors) in the past. That could be as much as six years ago
I’d encourage you - if you are still looking to start an online business to check out the pdf I sent a link to the other day - Here is the link again
You will find that’ like our forest trails, things really have changed a lot and in very good ways
Have a great weekend!
Bests
