Hi
Half the battle with online business is finding your own voice in a crowded market
Especially if you are working on a passion business
Not long after joining SFM and finding how easy they had made it to build websites, create lists and drive traffic
I built a Guitar website.
My plan was to just write about the world of guitars and guitar playing and add lots of reviews of affiliate products. Maybe I’d create a course to teach guitar.
But I quickly found that there were loads of people out there doing just that. So I first just neglected the site completely
Then only last year, I put it up for auction - the domain name had been valued at around $600.
But then over the lockdown when my partner and I both had a lot more time to create music and videos I got interested in doing something with the Guitar stuff again.
I’d realised that where I could be a little different was in teaching people how to develop their own style as I have.
Most of the content I see is around “Play like X”, or “Learn how to play like Z”
So I took the site back, installed a new theme and started writing some new content.
It feels much better now that I have a firm direction to take it.
Luckily because I have the site hosted in my Digital Business Lounge account I don’t have to worry about scurrying around looking for themes. tools, images, or help when I need it
So just as I always recommend SFM (big news coming soon there by the way) as the perfect platform to start you online business life
I also recommend you work out how you can be unique in whatever niche you are in
Bests
Dave
