Isn’t it weird how things happen sometimes?
Earlier this week I wrote a blog post on the different types of opportunity that always come from a crisis

Later that day my friend and ex colleague Chris called me with some details about a project he wants me to help with
Like me he’s an ex Audio visual/events services guy and has built up a lot of contacts over the last 20 years or so
And as events look like they’ll start happening again fairly soon a Covid testing opportunity has arisen
Anyone attending a large scale live event will need to have a recent negative Covid test in order to buy a ticket
And the plan is to team up with a top medical organisation to get the ball rolling
I’m going to a meeting next Friday in Edinburgh with some of the stakeholders
My role will be in sales if I decide its something I want to do but of course I won’t be doing any traditional door knocking, telesales etc
Not with all the Internet tools at my disposal and several years of internet marketing under my belt
In fact when I outlined the approach I would take to Chris he was pretty impressed.
“How did you learn all this stuff mate?” were his exact words.
