I spent a good few hours with my friend and Youtube co-presenter Selima yesterday. She’s visiting Argyll for a week before some longer stays later in the year and eventually a permanent move here from Surrey.

 

It was the first time we have actually met in person thanks to the good old pandemic, but we have managed on Zoom and Skype so far.

 

Usually on Tuesdays at 2pm - which we decided to call the Youtube Channel

 

We’ll get some videos recorded before she returns to England next week.

 

We discussed all things Online and where we think we can add value to the picture for people over 50 who want to get started online.

 

Later I was watching Dragon’s den on TV.  Of the various ideas that were presented by entrepreneurs looking for investment and help from the Dragons I couldn’t help noticing something.

 

In every case - even if all the Dragon’s loved an idea - they refused to invest if the entrepreneurs weren’t focussed highly on online sales.

 

This would have been the case anyway but the effects of the pandemic make it a complete no brainer.

 

It’s quite simply where you have to be if you want to start a business in 2021 and beyond.

 

For that reason the team at SFM and DEA have been working hard on a brand new platform which combines all of the innovations, trainings and tools they have developed over the last decade.

 

Its in prelaunch right now and i’ll bring you details as soon as they are official
