It was a bank holiday today in the UK and true to form it rained : )
Which puts a bit of a dampener (excuse the pun) on any newly permitted outdoor activities
But never mind eh - we get even more freedoms later this month and hopefully summer will start to make itself felt
There has even been an experiment in Spain where 5000 people were allowed to attend a concert without social distancing, though they did wear masks.
6 people contracted covid 19 but 4 of those were proven to have contracted it elsewhere.
Similar test events have been held in the UK with more planned soon
Good news for the events industry in particular and for all of us in general.
So that’s it then - a thing of the past !

What about all the lost jobs, closed businesses and massive recession which has just begun?
This weekend I got more upvotes on my Quora reply to the question:
What do people who are more than 45 years old do after getting fired from their job due to cost cutting?
That suggests to me - apart from the evidence of my own eyes and ears - that more people found themselves in this position on Friday.
