Hi
Â
One of the most useful things about my SFM membership is the library of training videos I can tap into at any time.
Â
There are some things with an Internet business that you donât do very often
Â
And like most things, when you donât do them all the time you tend to forget exactly how to do it
Â
That was the case this week as my friend and I were working on our new soon to be released Youtube channel for 50 plusers' who want no faff info on starting an online business.
Â
If you already have Google accounts and Youtube channels as we have, itâs quite a process setting up a brand new one that more than one person can access and work on.
Â
Unfortunately Googleâs own instructions and guides are to say the least hard to understand!
Â
They remind me of an old joke about Microsoft:
Â
A man hires a helicopter sightseeing tour of Washington.
Â
While they are in the air a very heavy fog develops and they get lost. The pilot carefully descends until they find themselves close to the top floor of a skyscraper. They can see anxious faces staring out at them from it.
Â
The pilot tells the passenger to grab a large sheet of paper and a marker from the rear of the helicopter and to write âWhere are we?â in huge letters on it.
Â
He then tells him to hold the sign up so the people in the building can see it.
Â
Someone in the office scurries away and can be seen writing a reply which they hold up against the window.
Â
It says âIn A Helicopterâ
Â
The pilot proclaims âGreat I know exactly where we are! Thatâs the Microsoft office in Redmondâ.
Â
The passenger says âHow dâyou know that?â
Â
âBecauseâ, replies the pilot âLike all Microsoft information that message is factually correct but practically uselessâ.
Â
Boom Boom! đ
Â
The moral is that Itâs good to have useful, easy to understand info to refer to when you want to get something done. Â
Â
Rather than searching for info on Google and plowing through six billion results, I find it much easier to just log into my Mentors account and find the precise info I need.
Â
By the way - the SFMâs All in One offer which they created specifically for the pandemic crisis is coming to an end soon.
Â
It saves you money and gets you started quicker. You can access the information page here
Â
Have a great weekendÂ
Â
Â
Cheers!Â
Â
