Some time ago I answered a question on Quora which has had a good number of upvotes - my best yet in fact.

 

The question was. “What do people who are more than 45 years old do after getting fired from their job due to cost cutting?”

 

My reply was quite long so I won’t repeat it here. Essentially I told my own story of being laid off twice between the ages of 47 and 49.

Obviously a lot more people than ever before are finding themselves in this position and not just the over 40’s

 

And judging by the response to my Quora answer, are finding my solution to the problem of value.
