It happened on Monday as my partner and I were coming back from a long walk
It was beautiful spring day (at last) and we were walking along the shore road a few miles from the house. It was really calm and quiet
I had just commented on how flat calm the sea was and how quiet - lockdown quiet - it was for the middle of the day
When a car pulled up and the driver shouted over - “Hi -sorry to bother you but are you Dave? The guy with all the Youtube videos?”
I said "Well I do have a Youtube channel so I might be that guy...".
We got into a quick chat which became a socially distanced longer chat
And it turned out that this guy had been an SFM member a long time ago but as he was in the army and kept being sent away for months on end, couldn’t concentrate on it.
Since leaving the army and moving back here to look after his dad he wanted to get started again.
He had found me on Youtube, realised I lived nearby and decided to talk to me if he ever saw me and to rejoin through me as my videos had been so helpful to him
Monday was that day
He joined SFM later that evening.
As if that wasn’t unusual enough the passenger in his car that day was one of my partner’s driving instruction pupils who I have ever met.
Obviously they haven’t seen each other for a while due to lockdown and she has dyed her hair at least once since then
So it was the brother who recognised me from Youtube and then the connection was made LOL
The Universe? Law of Attraction? Just a coincidence? who knows a brilliant “thing” however you slice it.
