I wrote a blog post today about why I think digital marketing is the key skill for our age and why it's down to entrepreneurs to teach it.

I had been thinking about why so many SFM members are actually educators of one sort or another. We have a lot of business coaches, self development and life coaches for example. 

The truth is that traditional education is very far behind when it comes to teaching how to actually make a living from digital marketing. 

They can teach the theory for sure but as the old saying goes" If you can't do it - teach". 

My dad held a fairly high position in the English teaching profession and I've always admired and agreed with his stance that education is the most important thing in the world. 

As I say in the blog though I think the best skill we can learn and teach now is how to function successfully online. That's equally true if you are an educator. 

That's the skill I was looking for when I found SFM and DEA and it's why I am passionate about what they do. 

The fact that they have combined this education with a franchise style business system and run it as a community is just the icing on the cake.
