That's the Dublin version of hello ! Nice.
Just spent a great
few days in Dublin with my partner. We both needed a short break and we made a good choice. It's years since I've been there and it's just seems to have got better.
We were lucky with the weather as it was very warm and sunny every day. So we took advantage of the out door seating at the many pubs and gastro bars.
Lots of cities could learn from Dublin when it comes to looking after people and making them want to come back. Everyone from bus drivers to bar staff gave us a warm greeting and were helpful with advice on where to go and what to see.
Of course there are tons of places to eat drink and see live
music but there are also loads of quirky little side streets where you can see the arty/alternative side of things. A fabulous place to just wander aimlessly. It's easy to find your way around.
Public transport is excellent and they have a bicycle borrowing system too. I was banned from the internet by my other half (we're on holiday) but on the last day I did
check my email.
Dublin has free wifi everywhere - in the bars and restaurants, on the buses, all over the airport so I think a longer break there is definitely on the horizon.
So an ideal place for living the laptop lifestyle. If you
need a short break you just set a few things up before you go so that your marketing is happening anyway. If you want to spend much longer periods of time in a different place, switched on cities like Dublin make it very easy.
Isn't it time you were living the laptop lifestyle?
