Following my slight annoyance with the Commonwealth games yesterday I'm actually felling a wee bit sad that it's all coming to an end tonight. Or is it?

Yes tonight the games themselves come to an end with a big finale. Kylie Minogue, Lulu and  Deacon Blue will be on stage so I'm sure it will be a memorable end to the event.

What's left behind though? What is the legacy going to be for Glasgow, Scotland, the UK? 

Well for starters one side effect has been a big boost in business for lots of entrepreneurs who saw opportunity during the event. Aside from all the services involved - the audio visual stuff, transport, accommodation and all the other tourist  services loads of little temporary businesses have sprung up. 

There have also been opportunities for lots of young people who have been proudly lending a hand as guides, stewards and a host of other things. For them it could be a springboard for all sorts of future opportunities. 

Grabbing opportunities is part and parcel of what entrepreneurs do. Going to live events is also a key to success because you get to mix, meet and mingle with like minded people.  

Its the same with SFM events like momentum day in September. If you grasp the opportunity that SFM offers to change your life you could be at that event and see what I mean.
