Tantrums n tears ! lol ..

Yesterday I was cursing the commonwealth games one moment and almost moved to tears by it later ! Both made me grateful to be working for myself from home for different reasons.

First of all I live near Glasgow and very near several of the stadiums and centres where a lot of the action is taking place. As a result the traffic is pretty crazy at times and a number of roads are closed.

I nipped out yesterday afternoon to get a few things for dinner. I decided to go to the Asda hypermarket near Hampden stadium for some reason - big mistake!

I sort of knew the road to the Asda had been closed but tried anyway - it was still closed so I backtracked and tried another route. That route was also so busy that I again backtracked.

I ended up going to another supermarket. Its further away than the Asda one and I should have gone there in the first place ! What should have been a 2o minute jaunt took well over an hour.

On the way back I timed it nicely to be caught in rush hour traffic. For the first time in ages. It hasn't got any more enjoyable! That's the first thing that made me grateful for making the move to a home business. I don't have to sit in blood boiling, hardly moving rush hour traffic twice a day, 5 days a week !

Later we were watching some of the gymnastics events on TV and watched a young Scottish runner win a gold medal. Her joy and that of her family who she ran into the crowd to hug , brought a tear even to my unflappable eye (just don't tell anyone Ok? )

That brought home to me just how much we humans can achieve when we really want something. It's the same with building a business. With both you need trainers, special equipment and dedication. Just like SFM provide.

Have a great weekend!
