People sometimes ask me things like - "won't this get saturated" or "surely there aren't enough people looking for an online business for everyone?" 

(Between you and me I'm often tempted to reply "Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!" but that's not very helpful ... )

So I spent a little time looking up some numbers and they are pretty astounding. 

If you go to this site  you will see a counter of current internet users - its going fast - when I looked at 4.30pm BST earlier today the counter was at 2.908.834,950 - nearly 3 billion !! 

The site can also show you the number of monthly Google searches - that counter is too fast to follow! 

Don't know about you but my brain cant really process that. What it does tell me is that the number is going up. 

With a little more research I found that there are 1,310,000,000 monthly active Facebook users - an increase of 22% from 2012-2013. Facebook not surprisingly, is one of the the best places to advertise these days - if you know how.

We know from research also that around 50 million people per month search for "making money online" opportunities. Granted a portion of those are just curious or are looking for the push button, churn n' burn nonsense that you and I know is a waste of time. 

Despite that many, many people are actually pretty smart and can do this kind of research themselves. That reveals the astounding potential of doing business online but it doesn't tell you how to do it does it?

TIp: It takes the same amount of work to sell a $20 product online as it does to sell a  $2,000 product. Which would you rather do? Learn how to find the $2000 customers or the $20 customers. (there are plenty of both by the way)

You would be amazed at the number of "experts" there are out there who are making a killing despite not having a clue! Why? Because there is a vast lack of understanding around the industry that they can capitalise on.

Have you seen people like Go-Daddy (a web hosting company) and Paypal advertising on TV recently along with the people selling websites? EVERYONE wants to know how to do digital marketing and leverage the internet. 

We are now past the horrible "get rich quick" period of the internet I think and just at the start of the really exciting times. The people who get in now with the right education, the right tools and the right business systems are going to be the leaders of the future.
