Monday rolls round again tomorrow folks. Is it going to be the usual Monday - Friday routine? Or are you going to start something new - change direction,or at least start building something new and exciting. An online business for example. 

Don't get me wrong. I have no axe to grind with jobs as such. Everything I have was paid for by working jobs until a few years ago when everything changed.

I was made redundant and found it well nigh impossible to get interviews for jobs never mind getting a new job. This has nothing to do with my track record, experience or performance in previous jobs but everything to do with the state of the economy, and to put it bluntly - my age. I will be 50 this year.

I know several people in the recruitment industry - one of them is an Elite SFM affiliate and they tell me that in all honestly anyone over the age of 35-40 is going to struggle to find a new job these days - in the corporate world at least.
