(Led Zeppelin - my favourite band)  once sang 

"Good times bad times you know I've had my share".

Well unlike in the song my woman hasn't "left me for a brown eyed man" ! but it has been a bad week nonetheless........

First of all the old lead plumbing in our beautiful victorian apartment gave up the ghost and flooded the downstairs neighbour. This has resulted in us having to have most of the bathroom floor lifted (I just retiled it last year!)

Second through all this I've had the dreaded man flu : ( 

So why am I sharing this with you? (I hear you ask) 

Well I was just thinking how much worse it would be if I was still working a full time job as an employee. Not only would I have had to struggle in to work feeling terrible  but my partner and I would have had to juggle time to be at home for the plumber who has had to make several visits over the last week or so. 

Working from home online however means that I can still get some work done despite some disturbances and despite feeling poorly. With a lot of my work going on in the background I can do the rest whenever I like. 

Anyway all should be fixed today (my flu as well I hope - feeling better) and I'm going to ask our plumber "Aside from the obviously decent pay, why plumbing?" He did tell me he had previously worked in Insurance so there must be a story here. 

I wonder if he's ever considered starting an online business or learning how to boost his current business with digital marketing ....... keep you posted !

So anyway we all have bad days or weeks and we usually get through them with help from people who know what they are doing and have more experience than we do in a given skill.
