Well here we are - Monday 4th January 2021

 

Don’t know how it is for you but it’s like going back to March 2020 here in the Uk with pretty much another full lockdown

 

Vaccines are here and being distributed but thats a long process and in reality we are probably looking at spring this year before things get back to what we will now call normal

 

That’s a full year since this pandemic hit us

 

For many people its been a full year of not working or being able to run their business

 

In the UK the government has been pretty generous with financial support for those people

 

But has also been encouraging them to use this time to look at a change in direction

 

Rethink, Reskill, Reboot were the their exact words in an ad campaign they ran last year

 

And although this understandably ruffled a few feathers, it is actually sound advice

 

As you know I did exactly that when the last recession took everything from me

 

I chose to arm myself with internet marketing skills and I still think that is the best strategy - actually much better now - for anyone to take in these uncertain times

 

Where the only thing that seems certain is that we are all doing much more of everything online than ever before

 

And the good thing is that you don’t have to turn your back on everything you’ve worked at for all those years

 

You can repurpose the skills and experience you already have and build your online life around anything you like

 

 

So I’ll start this year by again suggesting you consider joining SFM and looking at everything they have put in place in 2020 to get you up and running online ASAP
