My cousins run a traditional English pub near London.
They posted on Facebook this morning that after having just spent days decorating the place for Christmas
They have been effectively put on Lockdown once more till after Christmas - so all that hard work has gone to waste
Or has it……
Another cousin - this one in Edinburgh had some sound advice for them
She suggested they just leave the decorations alone and postpone the festivities till Easter
Everyone else will be missing their festive season too and will be ready for a good old knees up by then
Marvellous idea - don’t you think?
It’s taking action of sorts
And that’s the key to everything I find.
We have all learned this year that we can’t take anything for granted. That’s given us time to take stock and hopefully plan ahead.
Most of us start the new year with resolutions: Stop smoking, get fit, start that business……
Why not actually bring those resolutions forward this year?
