Hi
I mentioned that my partner and I went for a long hike along the forest tracks above our house on Friday (which is why I didn’t do my usual email)
I took the picture above on our walk.
I did plan to back there on my own today with all my camera stuff and shoot some serious photos for my commercial photo site as well as some marketing videos for my SFM/DEA business.
But alas the weather today is wet, windy and grey so it’ll have to be another day.
I did at least manage to write some of the script I’ll use for the video ads though
That stretch of sea in my photo is the Firth of Clyde. It runs from the big ports in Glasgow through Greenock past Dunoon and Innellan (right past our house) and out beyond Bute and Arran to the open sea.
Lots of cargo ships pass through the Firth loaded with containers destined for who knows where….
Its very possible that some of the goods could belong to some of my SFM friends who are running e-commerce businesses through Amazon with training and support from ImportXperts at SFM
I also cant help thinking - when I have such a lofty view of the world up there - about the thousands of invisible internet transactions and searches that are going on below.
But most if all it makes me so grateful that I’m able to live here and see views like this whenever I want
And that as much as anything else is what the Internet has brought us
Crazy to keep struggling in a dried up old economy that ties you to a fixed income, a fixed location and soaks up most of your time
When there is a valid and ever more popular alternative literally at your finger tips …..
You could for example just click HERE and start switching to the modern way of life
Cheers!
Dave
