Hi
I added another tool to my video making arsenal yesterday and its fabulous!
As I mentioned I started properly using Instagram recently
And I wanted to learn if I could post some Youtube of my tutorial videos on it
Normally Instagram only lets you post videos that are a maximum of 60 seconds long.
If you want to post longer videos you need to use Instagrams TV channel which some say might overtake Youtube eventually - we will see
Anyway I came across a platform called Veed which does the trick - and much more besides.
Check it out HERE
I’m not an affiliate or anything so I gain nothing out of this financially if you decide to buy it (except the warm feeling that comes with sharing great resources)
There is an excellent Free plan which has all of the main features.
I went for the basic plan myself at $15 per month because it suits my needs better.
VEED is in some ways similar to Vidnami which I also have and love but it does some things Vidnami doesn’t and does some things better
Mainly the transcription element which turns your speech to text - very popular at the moment
These things can be glitchy and inaccurate requiring a lot of editing to exactly transcribe what you say (especially if you have a Scottish accent lol )
VEED does it really well though and the built in editor is super fast, easy to use and very accurate.
I just needed to adjust a couple of things in my 3 minute video and it only took seconds to do.
If you are doing video and want a quick way to add text, transcriptions, timeline counters and other cool stuff its very well worth a look.
And if you want to change the format of your video to fit different platforms like Instagram or facebook for example where most content is seen on mobile it makes that very easy.
You can test it out free when you visit the site
I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do.
Bests
Dave
