Hi
This was one of those Monday’s I’d have called in sick in a pervious life
Th cat came in with a live mouse at 4am and proceeded to chase it around the house.
I got up in a vain attempt to save the mouse (or at least to avoid standing on bits of its innards later)
The best I could do was to persuade her to take her new toy and future breakfast outside - sorry mouse.
I tried getting back to sleep but couldn’t so when i got up again to make our coffee at 8.30 I was bleary eyed.
It was also raining heavily
Once again I felt relieved that I wouldn’t have to squelch into my car and sit in rush hour traffic for 40 minutes as I used to in my day job days.
But then again that life - normality for many people - is on hold right now
Maybe forever
And that reminded me of a video I shot about a year ago which you can see here
Obviously back then none of us had any idea what was coming our way but everything I say in that video is very relevant now nonetheless
"Same shit - different day", you might say
Because it seems to me that some kind of major crisis rocks our traditional economy every decade or so
An economy that's being undermined by technology anyway
It really is smart to have a plan B that doesn't rely on the old economy but leverages the new
Bests
