Do you ever watch Youtube video tutorials?
If so you might have found some particularly great channels which you’ve subscribed to and have watched a lot of their content
Me too
But a little coincidence really opened my eyes to the incredible opportunities they can offer if you have digital skills
Check this out:
During lockdown I’ve been learning Logic Pro X - Apple’s premier league music production software
There are plenty of tutorials on Youtube but one company in particular - Musician on a Mission (MOM) has stood out. I’ve learned a ton from their free tutorials
Their content is quite slick and the internet marketing they do is pretty good
But I would never have guessed that they were actually a pretty big business in both the UK and USA ($36million turnover)
UNTIL
An old friend got in touch out of the blue and sent me a link to a job opportunity they are advertising
“I know you probably would run a mile at the thought of being an employee again - but check this out . It would be right up your street”.
So MOM are looking for a Marketing Director. Its a work from home position with a salary of £90,000 + bonuses.
I’ll be honest though the list of responsibilities that go with the job made me tired just to read!
But still - a potentially high six figure salary for a work at home job in the music production industry basically doing what I’ve been doing for years anyway……
I’ll admit I was tempted
But at the end of the day I like the semi retired life I have - its why I went online.
Point is though even if you don’t fancy running your own online business right now
Having the skills to create and scale ad campaigns on Youtube and social media
And understanding things like SEO, sales funnels and email management systems
Can open up extremely well paid job opportunities in sectors you are passionate about
This is the way the world is going - shouldn’t you go with it?
Another very good reason for joining SFM and DEA
Have a great weekend
Cheers!
