Hi 

 

A while back I emailed about my new toy and how a little local video persuaded me I needed it....

 

That toy is a smartphone gimbal  - sort of a mini steady cam similar to what drones are fitted with except this is a handheld device 

 

It not only keeps things beautifully smooth when you are shooting while walking or running it allows you to do cool cinematic zooms, and pans

 

You can also stick it on a tripod and get it to follow your face as you move around.  It’ll do time lapse video - even while moving, slo mo and panoramic still photos. 

 

It’s really rather cool 

 

Here’s a video I put together using it on a long walk near our home recently that demonstrates some of those features (and my acoustic guitar playing) 

 

There’s no sales pitch here whatsoever - no links or anything - its just to let you see what these things can do. 

 

Careful though - You’ll probably want one! 🤣

 

But they are surprisingly cheap
