Something happened the other day that I think really highlights a couple of things:
The sheer power of online learning
How the internet can be life changing in so many ways.
Here’s the scoop …..
I’m subscribed to a number of youtube channels on recording and producing music on computers - something I only really got into a year or so ago.
So I was watching a tutorial on recording acoustic guitars by a big name producer (The level of people and the information they are giving away free these days is stunning)
He revealed a technique which has been a music production “secret” for years.
It involves buying a cheap guitar and restringing it for Nashville or "high strung", tuning.
When I heard the results of this in action on his tutorial I was blown away.
So I jumped on to Ebay and bought a fairly nice used guitar and a set of the special strings required
They arrive on Thursday - but why am I telling you this?
Well, as I said at the top it highlights just what is available to us online and how quickly you can discover a new things and put it into action using the Internet.
(You’ll know this if you are one of the people who grabbed the Content Samurai deal I sent you last week)
This little story also highlights the big message that my friends at SFM have been spreading for over 10 years now
The Internet can open doors for us that simply were not there a fairly short time ago.
For me the biggest thing freedom the internet can provide is time
Time to look into the things I’m truly passionate about and to spend doing them
Without having to worry much about where the next pay check is coming from to finance it.
Because coincidentally all of the things I enjoy spending time doing can also be turned into online revenue streams.
You need education, training, support and systems to get there - all of which are provided by SFM and can be applied in whatever time you have available now
But which will in the long run create a great deal of time freedom
When you learn these things are possible and the kind of lifestyle they support
Just like I learned what a cheap guitar and a set of new strings can do for my music
It’s like a veil has been lifted from your eyes!
We’re well into 2020 now so if you resolved to make some big lifestyle changes this year but haven’t started yet
Maybe today’s the day - start here
You just have to open up to new possibilities - I didn’t wake up on Friday thinking I’d be buying another guitar on Saturday
But when I learned what it could do for me - I had to!
Cheers!
