A while back I talked about Content Samurai
The simple video creation tool I bought recently
Here’s my review page and video if you want a recap
Anyway, just thought I’d update you on a couple of things I’ve been doing with it.
My partner’s cousin recently opened an oriental grocery store and I offered to do her a little Facebook video using Content Samurai
She had bits and pieces of a logo and a load of images from the shop. She sent me those and a short script I asked her to write about what she sells in the shop
So I used the amazing Canva - a free image making site to stitch together a logo.
Then I went ahead and loaded the script and some of the images into Content Samurai and let it do it’s thing
Minutes later I had a cool little video to send her
She was over the moon with it! (I felt a warm glow)
Better still she messaged me the next day to say the video had gone viral (not actually but it had had several thousand views)
Better again she had four new customers turn up saying they’d seen the video.
My other uses of it have been around care at home for dementia website I’m working on with a partner
I’ve made several very short videos which summarise long, value packed blog posts.
When used as Facebook boosted posts the videos create interest and encourage people to click through to the blogs and to then subscribe to our newsletter
I’ve also created a short video ad for my partner’s driving instruction business.
Again this was used as a boosted Facebook post which has gained her several new pupils.
A new pupil on average does 30 lessons @ £27 per lessons
The maths here is a no brainer: You can boost a Facebook post for as little as $2 per day
You choose who sees it and how long it run for. You can re-target the people who interact with the post
As I’ve shown these little videos can generate sales for everything from oriental groceries to driving lessons
And people love them
It’s a fab little programme
Whether you use it to promote your own stuff or affiliate products
Or as a business in itself
Its one of my soundest business purchases so far this year
Like everything I use and promote - it pays for itself many times over
Cheers!
