I got some interesting insights today from someone who had paid over $10K to get them
The price was for attending a closed door mastermind with a group of mega successful entrepreneurs
My contact was good enough to share them
They do say that all knowledge is free
Trouble is, its also useless unless you apply it
Which is the main point he was sharing.
Here are a few more:
If you keep buying product after product but don’t focus on implementing them and getting help from real successful mentors - you are just wasting your money
Persistence, practice, coaching and endurance are the key elements for success and “genius level” work
Victims love leisure and entertainment, whereas leaders love learning.
The biggest expense in life is knowing the secrets of the successful (Mentors)
I have to say that in my experience all of the above are true. And over time it’s probably cost me much more than £10K to learn them
In all of the things I’m passionate about and have been successful in to some degree - playing guitar, photography and latterly making money online
It wasn’t down to the books, the software, the courses, the equipment I bought
But down to finding great teachers (mentors) early on.
That’s actually what made me investigate the Six Figure Mentors in the first place
Obviously the “Six Figures” bit is a great hook - and I wanted that
But the “Mentors” part is what really grabbed me
Two years ago I was invited to attend an exclusive event myself hosted by a group of very successful entrepreneurs - the Co-founders of SFM and their team in fact - in Fairhaven, New Jersey.
I learned a lot over those 2 days
But the highlight for me - which really emphasised the power of mentorship
Was an informal conversation with Stuart Ross over dinner on the last day.
This wasn’t the blackboard A+B = C stuff
But incredibly concise, actionable insights from his incredible experience in online marketing about finding your audience and speaking to them
I could go into more detail but as the saying goes - you had to be there
Which I guess is kind of the point I’m making
The 4 days I spent over there were vastly more valuable than the cost of flights and accommodation to get there
But that half hour was priceless.
Cheers!
