I was reading a great article in Medium this morning about internet marketing.
More specifically it looked at where a small - medium business should be spending a limited marketing budget.
Interesting though this was (at least to me)
A couple of numbers caught my attention:
97% of people looking for a local business start with a web search
Don’t know about you but that’s definitely me
70% of people rely on online reviews when making a buying decision
And again, count me in that 70%
Those are pretty big numbers
The point being that if you want to start a business of any kind - or already own one
NOTHING these days is more important than your internet presence
And of course knowing what to do with it
Which is why I’m convinced that investing in learning how to function on the internet is the best investment any aspiring or existing entrepreneur can make
It’s certainly been the best one I’ve made and I know a lot fo people who agree
