If you lost your job or business tomorrow?
Research done in the USA shows that most Americans would be able to support themselves for around 2 weeks if they lost their income source.
I was in a far better situation than that when I lost my job. We had savings and I got a decent settlement so I didn’t have to panic immediately.
That didn’t stop me worrying myself silly about what I was going to do next.
In fact during a fit of sleepless tossing and turning one night soon after, I managed to trap a nerve in my neck and was ambulanced to the emergency dept of the local hospital
There followed months of tests, scans, heavy duty painkillers, acupuncture and Osteopathy.
I’m left with a slightly numb right index finger which will probably be permanent
But every cloud has a silver lining as they say (if you look for it)
So during those months I spent a lot of time reading books like the ones I shared with you on Monday and looking for skills that would deliver peace of mind
That’s when I first came across a video by Stuart Ross, co-founder of SFM
He was talking about the peace of mind that becoming good at internet marketing has brought him
Because even if the massive empire and 8 figure income he has built were to collapse tomorrow, those skills are completely transferable and he would be able to start again immediately in another niche.
He’d already made fortunes in various niches before meeting Jay Kubassek and creating SFM and DEA
Platforms dedicated to passing on that knowledge, those skills and the kind of resources that they would have killed for in their early days as digital entrepreneurs
I seriously believe that the Internet is the only place where the “average” person can create real security in the times we live in now - like it or not
Shortly after watching Stuart’s video, I submitted my application to join and have never looked back
That was 5 years ago and in that time I’ve met the founders and their amazing team several times at live events once at Jay’s mansion in New Jersey
They have gone from strength to strength as have I
And so can you - apply here now
Cheers!
Dave
