Most of the Uk is being battered by storms again today with more expected over the weekend
To be honest if I was still working for “The man”
I’d be taking a duvet day today
If you’re UK based or anywhere that’s experiencing heavy weather and absolutely have to travel for work please take care out there.
And maybe over the weekend when you’re home safe and warm
Have a think about what life could be like if you never had to travel in these conditions - at least for work - where you are lining someone else’s pocket with your precious time
You might also want imagine moving to a different climate altogether permanently or just during the winter months
This used to be the reserve of the wealthy and privileged but not any more
The internet has changed all that completely
Allowing us to shape the life we actually want - even if that still seems way put of reach
