I’m no politician but I do have the time to watch the various arguments from both sides and form an educated opinion

 

In particular, here in the UK the Brexit farce goes on and on 

 

Above all, no matter what side you happen to be on what strikes me most is that democracy and freedom are actually most at risk here

 

The entire UK was asked to vote and voted to leave the EU 

 

That was two years ago yet no clear direction has yet been agreed on by the country’s leaders 

 

It looks very much like the government, backed  by a scandalously biased press and media is desperately trying to back out of one of the most important democratic votes in UK history

 

There really does seem to be an agenda behind it all. Anyone opposing that agenda or even suggesting alternative points of view is shouted down. 

 

They risk losing their jobs, friends, credibility - it’s very weird. 

 

For what it’s worth I voted to leave - just  as I voted (for myself) to leave the traditional, dying economy and join the thriving digital economy some years ago 

 

When it comes to Brexit I feel that the politicians, economists and broadcasters from the leave side of the debate have the most intelligent arguments (if they are ever allowed to put them across)

 

The problem is that if you are trapped in that old system of exchanging most of your time for money 

 

You just don’t have time to look outside of the mainstream media for your information

 

Coincidentally (or maybe not) I felt that way about what the co-founders of SFM and DEA were saying when I became aware of them 5 years ago 

 

To become truly independent and truly free in the 21st century - the digital age - We need to turn our backs on what’s gone before and concentrate on developing the skills to thrive in the world as it is now 

 

 

And in the future

 

It’s pretty clear that we cant trust many of our so called leaders.

 

This has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with personal freedom and self reliance 

 

If you’d rather lead a life that is largely immune to all this rhetoric and old world crap 

 

Then go digital!
