We had a friend staying with us over the weekend
He’s a guitar player on Cruise ships and is often on board, away from home for months at a time
I asked him what he did in his spare time while he’s on the ship.
That got us on to the idea of spare time in general
And we agreed that actually
None of us actually have any “Spare” time………
We don’t know how much we actually have in the first place and we can’t make any more of it
Of course we have time when we are not working - time we can call our own and do what we want with
But thinking of that as “spare” time doesn’t really make a lot of sense
It seems to make time - our most valuable asset - trivial. Like spare change to be given away or thrown in a jar for later
Our friend spends his down time walking around the ship for exercise and takes photo’s of the exotic places he’s sailing by.
He practices whatever he’s playing on the cruise and reads books on personal development and nutrition.
As a result he’s much healthier and happier that he was and like me he really values his “spare” time and doesn’t just fritter it away
We agreed that the best use we have ever made of spare time is learning new things that move us ahead of the game everyone thinks they have to play
And that’s why I’ve been sharing with you links to the brand new suite of free webcasts by Stuart Ross at SFM
I genuinely hope you have found a little “spare” time over the last couple of weeks to watch at least one of them
But if not here is the link to the home page where you can access them all and register for a date and time that works for you
If you’re serious about making big and brilliant changes to your health, wealth and happiness in 2019 (which is after all what brought you here)
Then I guarantee these webcasts will be a good use of a little of your “spare” time.
Cheers!
Dave
