This weekend we were attacking our garden in earnest.
There’s just too much of it so we are replacing
a lot of the lawn with paths and borders - just cutting down the amount of it that needs constant mowing in the summer.
By coincidence our neighbour was doing the same - but his garden had not seen any attention for at least 3 years - it being a little used holiday home
It had become a serious
jungle!
But hats off to him - he and two friends worked like trojans all weekend and reduced that jungle to a huge pile of foliage ready to be burned
But there was a problem - all that stuff was pretty green
I
had a much smaller of chopped down brush and I just could get it to catch fire
But with a lot of perseverance (and a couple of gallons of petrol) he got a great blaze going eventually
Looking over the fence between our gardens he noticed my pile and told me to just sling it over and he’d burn it for
us.
Job done!
And it occurs to me that this act of neighbourliness is actually just like referral marketing
All we are doing there is referring people to goods and
services we use ourselves that help them out as they have helped us out.
With the internet the entire world are our neighbours - its pretty much like chatting over the fence but we can do it on a global basis
That’s the business model taught by SFM who help people out with one of the biggest
problems facing the world today -
- Learning how to thrive in a fast changing digital world.
As an SFM member you have the opportunity to create a lifestyle business by simply helping others to do just that
As
you do it for yourself.
Isn’t that the very definition of just being neighbourly? But on a much bigger scale.
You can start right HERE
Cheers!
