On the first Thursday of the month the SFM and DEA co-founders and their team host a membership webinar - The Visionary call
In it they outline all the new events, updates and features that are coming along
Yesterday’s call was as always very inspiring - among other things it looks like I’ll be off to Austin, Texas in September for this year’s Gold event!
Apart from anything else two of my heroes hail from
there - The late great Stevie Ray Vaughn and the legend that is Kinky Friedman!
The call ended with some great words from Stuart Ross about the massive opportunities open to anyone who has a big purpose (or is still looking for it)
He mentioned - as I often do too - that the digital world has blown the
doors off all the barriers we used to have in life:
Artists, Photographers and musicians for example no longer need middle men like producers, managers or record companies
We can build our own following, market our own work and follow our own direction
All we really need are stepping stones
And that is really what SFM and DEA are there for
I just use the arts as an example because its close to my heart but whatever your true passion is, if you have the skills to bring your real self to world by leveraging the
Internet
You WILL build a following - and the money will follow
There’s no longer any need for ‘faking it till you make it” for hard selling or for being a cog in a huge corporate wheel
You can just be you -
that what everyone wants now
Is that not truly magical?
