One of the points Stuart Ross made on last night’s special Gold webinar really hit home for me
He was talking about how, as
we get older, we tend to chase things that actually take us further away from the life we actually want
And no amount of money can fix that
In the corporate world it’s titles, promotions, money and kudos
All of
which bring more work, more responsibility, more stress
And less time, less peace of mind and less happiness.
Very true from my own experience - and possibly yours?
Stuart went on to suggest that getting digital skills, learning how to do affiliate marketing or e-commerce is now a very viable solution
Also very true from my own experience.
That’s because the digital world leverages systems rather than
time to create income.
Once you are able to function in that space - the internet basically - you gain great peace of mind as you know that you will always be able to generate income without relying on employment
Or on a traditional industry that will soon be made redundant
Like retail, high street banking, estate agency and many others - you only have to watch the news to see the truth of that.
The sad thing is that our traditional education systems are really not preparing young people for this new economy - this new (and better) way of doing things
Never mind for baby boomers and older folks who may soon find the rug pulled out from under their feet
Which is why I continue to be grateful beyond words that I stumbled across Stuart’s company SFM when I did - after the rug was pulled from under my feet a few years ago.
You’ve found them too and some of you have taken the next step
If you haven’t it’s a simple step - a mere click of a mouse or tap of a screen (HERE) and
the journey begins……
Talk soon
Cheers!
