It happened again…

I popped into the local bank to deposit some cash for my partner at about 10.30 yesterday morning

And as the branch manager was processing the transaction thats when it happened 

She asked if I was not working today.

Because in her mind that could be the only reason I was there in the middle of a weekday morning, dressed casually and unshaven.

This happens quite often and I’ve given up trying to explain that:

 I work in a different way these days

I have a ton of online real estate working for me 24/7/365 

Whether I work in the morning, afternoon, evening - or sometimes not at all - is largely irrelevant.

Instead I just say I work from home on the internet and sometimes earn more in a day than I used in to a couple of months as a Business development manager. 

With a slightly envious look in her eye she said - “Is it not hard to keep busy?”

“Sometimes”, I replied - “But its so worth it”. 

I left her to the rest of her 8 hour shift and commute home
