Just out of curiosity I wondered what the most searched for things on Youtube have been since it launched.

I was a little surprised as you might be but here they are:

1.When will I die? (6 billion searches - 87% from actual searches rather than suggested videos) 

2 Minecraft - Its a gamer thing! (Combined views of all videos made on this topic = 220 billion)

3. Despacito song (A Latin song I’ve never heard of but has been searched over 4.5 billion times)

4. Gangnam Style ( First video to hit 1 billion views - 3 days after it was uploaded!)

5. Infinity Wat Trailer (Movie trailer - 50 million searches in one day first ever video to generate over I million likes)

6. Fidget Spinner Tricks - no idea why people love these things but 500 million searches in a year)

7. How To Earn Money online - (Most people search for this once in their lifetime. 5 million views every year.

Now I can’t help with 1-6 I’m afraid 

But I can definitely point you in the right direction for Number 7
