It’s been a week of crazy weather in many parts of the UK but our little micro climate here in Argyll and Bute has escaped the worst of it. 

We’ve had a little Ice, snow and wind but it hasn’t caused much inconvenience. 

I hope if you in the UK you haven’t suffered badly from some of the chaotic scenes I’ve seen on the news recently. 

We’ve been amazed to watch news reports of hellish problems not far away from us while looking out at a flat calm sea with hardly a breeze and just a light sprinkling of snow

But then, working mainly from home, I have no real need to travel anywhere if the storms are raging.

Don’t get me wrong we get our fair share of heavy weather up here 

But it actually makes working from home on an internet business even more enjoyable 

I remember days when I’ve been stuck on the roads en-route to meetings for many hours - once even being snowbound in a little Perthshire village for 3 days  

So glad I don’t have to put myself through that for someone else’s benefit any more.
