My partner and I usually make Tuesday night “date night” followed by Wednesday off 

If we aren’t going out anywhere we watch a couple of TV programs or some Amazon Prime video series or other, cook a nice meal and open a bottle of wine.

Right now we are 3 seasons into an amazing series called Halt and Catch Fire 

I just wanted to recommend it to you as its very relevant to the digital economy 

Halt and Catch Fire covers the early days of computer technology and charts how things grew from gaming to email, community forums and finally the start of the internet as we know it today. 

Its fascinating

Passion, creativity, talent and entrepreneurialism meets big business in the 80’s 

It’s brilliantly acted, hugely entertaining, based on fact and just great! 

I and possibly you grew seeing all this develop from those early tennis games, massive commuters to slow (but exciting) dial up internet connections 

We saw Google emerge, Facebook and Youtube appear from nowhere and look where we are now 

It’s amazing and educational to see what went on in the background to make all this possible.
