So I was having dinner with in Le Club Avenue in Long Branch, New Jersey last week with some of the world’s top internet marketers last Friday (Still pinching myself!)
Across from me was Stuart Ross who was asking me about guitar playing (again - pinching myself)
Anyway I’d seen a guitar in the background on some of his videos and asked if he played
He told me he had bought it with the intention of
learning but had got stuck at tuning the damn thing.
If I hadn’t been a little jet-lagged and outside of a few beers I’d have advised him to just buy a tuner, but the chat moved on to unmissable business gold dust
Next day I thought to myself what a shame: For someone to get stuck right at the start of what
could be a huge new adventure when someone (like me) could so easily get them past that hurdle.
I decided to shoot a little tutorial video for my Guitar website and pass him the link.
But it got me thinking that actually this is a great example of what stops people from starting lots of things
Possibly life changing things - like starting an online business. That’s basically the reason Stuart and Jay started SFM and then DEA after all.
But sometimes the “Gurus” - the mega successful founders of an organisation can seem too distant - you need someone “closer” or more relatable to approach.
Hence my invitation to get in touch with me - which is always open by the way
The fact is that “guru’s” are actually just people too and have their own difficulties and challenges - they are just better than the rest of us at blasting past them.
The fact that the above
happened is I think an example of what sets this organisation apart from most.
When you become an SFM and/or DEA member you become part of something very special indeed
So why don’t you try it? - PUT YOUR ARROW HERE AND CLICK
