As I’ve mentioned in previous mails, I’m off to New Jersey next week to spend two days at the home of Jay Kubassek - co-founder of SFM and DEA on a special leadership training event.

Since I now live on a Peninsula in North West Scotland this is a major journey for me:

As my flight leaves earlier than the first ferry to the mainland I’l head off the night before to stay with my Folks who live near Glasgow.  

Next day I’ll be at 4am to drive over to the airport - US flights require me to be there 3 hours before the flight. 

Then its a 7 hour flight to New Jersey where I’ll grab an Uber to the Airbnb apartment I’ve rented. 

I’ll arrive jet-lagged and ready for bed though it’ll only be around 1pm in the states. 

Same deal on the way home.

So why would I do this (at my own expense) you might ask? 

Well I’ll get two days of expert training from some of the most experienced and successful online entrepreneurs in the world.

You’d pay 10’s of thousands for this on the open market (if it were even available) 

As any of the big name gurus will tell you, success is a lot to do with the company you surround yourself with.

And it would be hard to surround yourself with better in this game. 

So I know that the effect this will have on my own business will be huge 

If I put what I learn into practice of course…. and trust me - I will.

This sort of opportunity is what makes SFM and DEA unique in my opinion 

So when I was invited - based on my success so far - i didn’t think twice about the cost or the journey to get there.
