Its a strange fact of life that we have this built in ability to over complicate things 

As an example: 

I wrote a song years ago that my partner and I have been faffing about with ever since

It’s built around an acoustic guitar in a certain tuning. And we’ve finally come to the conclusion that really that (and a vocal of course) is all it needs. 

The tuning itself has only 3 notes and just two chord shapes that move around the guitar. Simple. 

But we’ve tried it with a full band, multiple layers of guitar, percussion and everything else we could throw at it! 

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should!

  And its the same with this Internet marketing game.

People try all sorts of tricks and shortcuts, get themselves tied in knots with a trillion different apps, courses, software programmes, plugins, add ons and - well - you get the picture. 

You really don’t need all that. You just need a methodical step by step system as a foundation - like my simple guitar tuning 

Then you need to choose a way to present your products and services to people who they are designed for. 

Pick a platform you like (Facebook or Youtube or Bing …. whatever floats your boat) Learn it, stick with it and fine tune.
