Us humans have an inbuilt resistance to change
I’ve read that It goes back to our earliest days when pretty much
everything was a danger to us
So when we found shelter, a bit of safety and developed some defences we were naturally keen to stay close to home
To not take chances or explore too far from that comfort zone.
Nowadays of course things are different - for most of us at least
Yet we still cling to that fear of change impulse
When actually change is essential to our growth as people.
I’ve just written a
brand new blog post about this
Read it here >> “The Power of Change”
I talk about two of the very big
changes I’ve been through in the last few years.
At the time I was very, very resistant to them but they actually turned out very, very well.
Some changes (like the march of progress) we can do nothing about of course except in how we react to them.
Other we can decide to make and embrace the power of change!
Have a great weekend
Cheers
