It’s weird how we get used to things - and maybe not such a great thing…
Example: The front rooms of our house offer
stunning, panoramic views of the firth of Clyde. That stretch of water is used by the nearby nuclear submarine bases at Coulport and Faslane.
So quite regularly we see these other worldly looking beasts with a flotilla of escort boats cruise past on their way to the open sea.
For the first year or
so of living here, we would be glued to the window every time one passed - I’d often take photos or videos of them.
Now however If I happen to be working from the bay window table in our lounge, I hardly notice them.
Quite often I’ll be on a Skype call and notice one
passing. I usually just casually comment “sub”
This is the same human trait that keeps us doing things when we’d rather be doing something else.
We just get used to things
Stuck in a comfort
zone
Far from ideal but bearable
So we need to shake things up - overcome the inertia and make changes.
Like transitioning to the digital economy - where we can now build the kind of lives we actually
want
I wrote a new blog on this yesterday - READ IT HERE
And have a great weekend!
Cheers!
