Getting the "life stuff" done (Video)

Published: Thu, 04/20/17

Its been one of those weeks here at chez Dave!

On Tuesday our friend Evon turned up with her two young kids (4months and 1 year old respectively)

It was fun but man, we DO NOT have a child proof house !

Then yesterday after fitting a new chain to my bicycle we went for a cycle.

I kind of forgot that I’m 52 and tried a stupid stunt that resulted in me taking a tumble and getting road rash on both hands.

I was more embarrassed by this being witnessed by passing motorists

After cleaning up & applying several plasters I headed into town to order some hardboard sheets to nail onto the kitchen floor for some new floor tiles we bought.

They delivered them an hour later so we just got stuck in.

I took a break to sit on on a webinar I was invited onto by SFM (part of a leadership challenge I’m now part of having reached a certain level of business success)

After that it was back to the tiling.

So despite not really doing much “work” this week I have got a lot of “life stuff” done.

Being able to chop, change and adapt is what I love most about the internet lifestyle - taking a couple of day out whenever, being one aspect of that.

I did manage to shoot a video on why the 9-5 is so outdated though - <<catch it here>>  (note the hamburger hands

Which is kind of backed up by this week’s ups, downs and er…. accidents

Cheers!
