First day of spring today
It’s our second spring here in the Cowal peninsula and its a wonderful time of year when you
have time to appreciate it.
The garden is coming to life again, the birds are nest building and the wild garlic is starting to appear all over the place.
I’ve always been a big nature fan but in the last couple of years, through leaving the city to live right in the middle of it, I’ve come
to love it.
I’m not rushing past it on the way to some meeting or other
I just open the door and I’m in it.
Soon I’ll be taking the laptop and the camera out there to work from our deck or the big bench I’m making out of an old pine bed.
It’s slightly ironic that I’ve been able to do this by leveraging technology I suppose ….
Through technology - the internet - that is largely
invisible but is out there 24/7/365 working for me while I soak up nature’s bounty.
But all this poetic stuff aside LOL - I also love that my online business has little or no impact on the environment I love so much.
It’s not spewing out pollution from factory chimneys. I’m not driving around and I haven’t
had to put up an ugly building to work from.
In many ways the digital economy is like springtime for the world
It's a fertile time for your hopes and dreams to flower
