It’s fair to say that for that last few years digital (the internet) has been looked on as a kind of add-on to traditional business.
That was then. Now however digital is THE way to do business. The tipping point has been reached. Digital is now the main economy.
That points to some pretty scary (if you are not ready that is) home truths:
Some 2 billion jobs will be replaced by artificial intelligence and technology by 2030 according to many experts and futurists.
So as individuals we can either
A. Get the skills to become a person of value in this digital economy
B. Scrabble around for whatever low paid jobs are still available
But you won’t get those skills with traditional education. That was built
to feed a traditional economy, which as discussed, is now the old world.
Where you will get them is from the new breed of digital educators. People like Stuart Ross, Jay Kubassek and their incredible team of experts at SFM and DEA.
These are people who are actually in the trenches every day - have been since
2008 when they could see where things were going.
And they were right.
So without wanting to scare you (too much) into action I highly recommend you give this some thought.
The good thing is that like with all massive changes - this digital revolution produces massive opportunity
for those who are ready.
It’s a case of learning some new stuff and its really not that hard.
