One of the big advantages of being online is that you can do things on a whim:

Don’t need to ask anyone for time off

Don’t need to travel when everyone else does 

But sometimes that can backfire…..

Last night on a whim I rented a little house near Barcelona for my partner’s 50th birthday in August this year.

But when I was doing a little research after booking flights, house and car, I discovered that August is the hottest month of the year in Barcelona

Possibly, almost unbearably hot …..

But then again for that reason it’s always the quietest month as there are fewer tourists (too hot!) 

But what the hell - we’ll still have a blast (hopefully not as in - blast furnace)

You can never have enough freedom - and lets face it being too hot for a week really is a 1st world problem!
