I wrote the other day about the importance of building your economy in these uncertain times

I feel so strongly about this that I decided to shoot a video on the subject

In the video I used a few slides which I sent to my 50” TV and controlled from my ipad using a really cool free app called “Fullcontrol”.

Just thought as a wee bonus I’d quickly explain how I shot the video as I think it’s a nice set up (and very easy) 

So 

Set up the camera to take in me and the TV (had to close one of the curtains to reduce glare)

Connected my laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable

Got the slides ready to go (I used Keynote but Powerpoint would also work) 

Fired up “Fullcontrol” on my Ipad (could also have used my phone) 

Pressed start on the ipad and the camera 

Boom! 

So I hope that’s of use if you’d like to shoot presentation style video
