As I’ve said before I am a bit of a technology addict.

I shy away form anything remotely maths based - like programming websites, writing code or any of the stuff people imagine you need to do to run an online business (You don’t) 

But when it comes to getting and mastering new music or photo/video l equipment I’m there! 

I also love learning new bits of software that make life easier and lets face it - that stuff is now so user friendly that anyone can do it - just as well for me.

Recently I’ve been tinkering with a programme called Garageband for my music and for a band I’m doing some work with. 

I’ve been amazed at what this programme - which comes free with Macs - can do. 

You know it will even create a drum track for you that sounds exactly like a real drummer - not a drum machine. 

When I think of the lengths I’ve had to go to record drums in the past this just blows me away.

That’s actually how I felt when I saw the SFM’s digital system in action and how I feel when I’m actually using it to create income producing material for my business. 

I’m only talking about this because I think everyone should embrace the technology we have at our disposal now. 

Not for its own sake - no need to be a geek - but for what it makes possible for us.  

And you know - the people who create technology need it to be simple enough for anyone to be able to use effectively. 

As an example I spoke to my mum (who is pushing 80) yesterday on Skype (in itself an amazing thing) and she mentioned she was going to look something up on her tablet.

OK so she means look it up on the internet WITH her tablet - but still - pretty wonderful.

So if you think you’ll need to be a techie to run an online business absolutely nothing could be further from the truth! 

Embrace the tech! It’s life enhancing!
